Accidents Happen! About Dental Emergencies

We've all had it happen: You are walking normally when all of a sudden the curb jumps up and makes you trip and fall. You're playing with your kid and that swing comes out of nowhere to smack you in the face. You are brunching with friends and you bite into a fork or you bite into something hard in your salad and hear a crunching noise. You're now faced with a dental emergency.

Time for a Trip to the Dentist

This is the time to call your friendly neighborhood dentist that you've been meaning to get into because you're eight months overdue since your last cleaning. The tooth and area will be sensitive for a day or two. But get into the dentist right away so that they can assess the damage and make sure things are healthy. If not, early intervention is needed to curtail any major consequences down the road.

Same-Day Dental Appointments in Glendale

If you are the kind of person that likes to wait, don't. Most times accidents like these don't result in any kind of complications...but that's the unpredictable part of them...pain, infection and swelling following any kind of trauma or accident could be just around the corner.

Whenever the office is closed, the number forwards directly to Dr. Kim's cell phone so that you can always reach him in case something like this happens. Dr. Kim will be happy to help you and if you can't get into the office right away, he can talk you through what to do in the meantime.
